Just perfect

“A fabulous three night break. Extremely comfortable twin room with large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and perfectly cooked served in a light and airy dining room. There is a conservatory attached in which we were served tea and biscuits on arrival. Yasmin was a very welcoming hostess; nothing was too much trouble.

Recommendations for places to eat were offered and Yasmin booked us a table at a nearby pub (The Royal Oak at Hurdlow – very good and also recommend!)

We asked to see around the farm and Yasmin was very happy to show us, answering all our questions and clearly demonstrating her passion for her cows.
We don’t hesitate to recommend and hope to return.”

A Derbyshire gem

“We stayed at Fernydale Farm for one night on Saturday 26th May. We were met by the lovely Yasmin who told us to check in whenever was convenient for us, which was a great help as we were due at a wedding 10 miles away at 1pm so we could freshen up, get changed and get off in good time.

We got up the next morning to a fabulous breakfast overlooking the amazing views that surround the farm. We spent time with Yasmin who is clearly very passionate about her cows and breeding and learned a lot of bloodlines and showing. Our room was large, comfortable with a spacious bathroom and again, beautiful views.

Nothing was too much trouble for Yasmin, she got special food in for us, she allowed us to use her landline as the mobile signal was down and she took messages from a friend who was coming for us, she even offered to drive us to where we had left our car! I would not hesitate to recommend Fernydale Farm, it really feels like a home and we are planning to go back for a longer break one day….”

Very good B&B situated inside a working farm

“I stayed one night. The location somehow was not shown up properly on the satnav system, so I needed a little bit of work to find it, but it’s actually very close to the town centre. Not much cellular reception there to speak of (as is the case in the most of the rural Peak District), so naturally the wifi becomes a necessary means to communication. The B&B is situated inside a working farm. A short stroll will take you around the different barns.

Rooms are very nice, warm and clean, with good views of the surrounding area. Breakfast is superb. The staff even remembered that I requested a packed lunch to go on the check-out-day (it was already more than 2 months prior to the stay that I mentioned that)!”

A real gem!

“Sometimes, after seeing things online, the reality doesn’t live up to expectations. Not so here!

Fernydale Farm is a delightful B&B in the farmhouse, on a working farm. Yasmin has taken a lot of trouble to provide everything you might need (toiletries, tea and coffee, local brochures etc) and everything is top notch. This is a beautiful location with easy access to Buxton, Matlock and of course the high peaks.

Breakfast was superb. The bedrooms were spotless and comfortable and our dog was made very welcome. So glad we found this place; if we go back to the Peak District this is undoubtedly where we will stay. Thank you Yasmin for making us so welcome.”

Peaky Perfection!

“We stayed here for three days with our dog in Feb but would happily have stayed for 3 weeks. Cosy, relaxed B&B with stunning views and a lovely,
friendly, accommodating owner. Delicious breakfasts with a wide and varied choice. We’ll be back!”

“Lovely accommodation, great breakfasts”.
