Accommodation at Fernydale Farm Bed and Breakfast (B&B)

"Peaceful and away from it all" is the theme at Fernydale Farm, nestling under Jericho Hill in the small village of Earl Sterndale. We are in a beautiful part of the country and have a fine position, with spectacular views of nearby Chrome Hill, Parkhouse Hill and Roundhill. We have three guest rooms, all furnished to a very high standard of comfort and featuring pine furniture. The first of these is a newly-refurbished and well-proportioned double room with king sized bed and 26inch flat screen TV, plus en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating and a bath with shower over. Our second room is a spacious twin-bedded room, which can also be arranged as a double room. Our third bedroom is a family room, with a double bed and a single bed. All rooms are en-suite, with a fully-tiled bathroom equipped with shower, wash basin and WC. Towels are provided. All rooms are fully centrally heated and equipped with colour remote-controlled TV and tea/coffee making facilities. In the morning, enjoy breakfast in our dining room which has a fine view across to the spectacular hills of the Upper Dove valley - Chrome Hill and Parkhouse hill especially. Our breakfast menu is extensive and includes local produce such as Derbyshire oatcakes as well as vegetarian options. We also offer evening meals and packed lunches. In the evenings, relax in our cosy conservatory, which has panoramic views across the dramatic Derbyshire countryside. A range of information about local places of interest is provided, along with local maps, details of local walks, and a selection of board games.
